Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model and animal rights advocate in the US. The actress is famous for movies such as Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). The desire to become an artist was inspired by her family background in the New York family of artists. She started as a photographer's assistant, and later moved into modeling and acting. Her name was highlighted in her two first films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw became an international star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. The film was recognized as the most successful female box-office star of the world in just three movies. In Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she was able to have her handprints and signature engraved. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw got married to three different people.
