Annie Mist Thorisdottir, an experienced professional CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She's the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also is a coach and trainer. Annie was the first female in history to have won the CrossFit Games two times. She placed second in the in the 2010 and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir, from Iceland - a CrossFit weightlifter, media acclaim and CrossFit competitor - is a CrossFit athlete from Iceland. She was the first female to be awarded an award at the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012. She also won the CrossFit Games in 2012 twice. Other accomplishments include winning Dubai Fitness Competitions in 2017 and 2013. Annie, along with her parents and siblings were born in Reykjavik Iceland. Being an avid sportsman and exercising enthusiast from an early age, she took part at various school events and received numerous medals. She participated for the first time in 2009, in the CrossFit Games held in California In the event, she came out very well. Annie Thorisdottir's age was 31 years (as as of 2021). She stands at 5'7" tall, and weighs about 67kg. Annie was the first to start CrossFit in California in 2009. She performed well in initial games and finished in the Top 10 from 70. Although she didn't claim any trophy and she finished her tournament in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came in seconds place and won a silver medal in the same year. Later in the year, she again participated in the CrossFit events and thanks to her impressive performance, she took home the contest and became the first woman to win CrossFit Games. Annie became the very first female to win in consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to the extraordinary performance. She also took home a gold. In 2021, she received with a bronze. Annie now coaches and trains at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was established by Annie. With rising fame as an athlete, Annie has appeared as a spokesperson many sports brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance the Nuun Hydration Periodization Sidekick and a host of others. Alongside this, she has a self-titled Youtube channel with a few thousand followers where her workout diet videos, family and travel videos are posted.
