Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid is of Chinese descent and lived during the war in Vietnam. Her father Winston Barrett Munn is from an American family that has long-standing roots in the American South. Olivia was just 2 years old when her parents divorced. The family now is run by her stepfather and mom. He's an United States Air Force soldier. The family left Oklahoma, and lived in several places, but she spent most of her childhood in Tokyo. During this time, Olivia participated in various local theater productions. In later years, she became an Japanese model. Olivia relocated in Los Angeles after the family's return back to this part of the United States. She pursued her ambition of becoming an actor. Olivia's career began to take off after just a couple of tiny parts. Olivia was cast in the role of Mily in the series with a Hawaii lens Beyond the Break (2005) as well as the role of receptionist in the film Big Stan starring Rob Schneider in Big Stan (2006). The G4 podcasts include "The Daily Nut" and "Formula D". She loves surfing, and has been practising since she saw the TV show Beyond the Break (2006). She is also a black-belt in Taekwondo. When she was two, her mom remarried. She was married a US Air Force serviceman. She was raised primarily in Tokyo, Japan where her stepfather was a member. It was the University of Oklahoma is where she completed her studies in journalism, with a minor in Japanese as well as drama and dramatic arts.
